ISO 9001Documentação
Review, approval, distribution and obsolescence: what the standard requires for documented information and how to organize it day to day.
ISO 9001 calls everything the organization needs to maintain (procedures) or retain (records) documented information. The requirement isn't to have many documents — it's to have the right ones, up to date and accessible.
The 5 points most often raised in audits
- Identification — each document has a code, title and revision. E.g.:
SOP-QUA-012 rev. 03. - Review and approval — who drafted, who reviewed and who approved, with dates.
- Availability — the current version is where people work.
- Change control — what changed from one revision to the next.
- Obsolete documents — old versions identified and out of use.
